The Pré’s

The campsite consists of eight (mowed) camping meadows (pré’s), each with its own name. These meadows are located along a cart track that runs through the valley and connects the meadows.

The Grand Pré is the central and largest field, equipped with a small playground and a pétanque court. The reception is located at the beginning of this field, opposite the barrier. Here is the largest sanitary block with gas and solar showers. There is also an accessible toilet.

To the east of Pré des Violettes lies the Millau – Béziers railway line, which runs alongside the campsite. Due to the size of the campsite, it’s hardly noticeable when a regional train passes a few times a day on the single-track line. This field is slightly separated from the rest of the campsite. It is the only field where pets are allowed with some discretion. There are no sanitary facilities here. Playing along and on the railway line is extremely dangerous and therefore prohibited.

The Pré de la Luzerne, the middle field, is sheltered by bushes and is located close to the swimming pool and the second sanitary building at the Grand Pré.

The Pré de La Source, located to the west, is named after the source of the stream La Vérenne that meanders through the campsite. The field has sheltered spots amongst the trees and, opposite, sunny locations.

The field of Pré de Moncourtet to the south of the farm is undoubtedly the quietest field. This sloping field lies against the mountain towards Ceilhes, the starting point of many hiking routes.

Pré des Marcassins runs up and is used at the bottom as a parking lot. There is also the sauna here.

The cart track has a speed limit of a maximum of 5 km per hour. There is a driving ban between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM; during those times, you park your car at the entrance (if you return later) and walk to your camping spot.
