Peace

Nature
At Le Pas de Ceilhes, you can walk peacefully, play adventurously, lounge about, read, enjoy a sauna, play pétanque, sunbathe, and swim. Savor regional wine and sheep cheese. Spot orchids, butterflies, birds, and wildlife, discover a ruin, or search for fossils. Feel the sun and rain on your skin. Listen to the rustling of the stream or the call of an owl or the drumming of a woodpecker. Enjoy the heavenly beauty at our ‘thousand-star campsite’ during clear nights. Here, friendship and simplicity provide you with an unforgettable holiday!

Experience the French Countryside
There is peace, but plenty to do; visit charming markets in Millau, Lodeve, or St. Affrique. Dine at delightful restaurants in the area, fly on the zip line over the Tarn in Millau, or explore the Labeil caves. Grocery shopping can be done in the larger cities as well as in Fondamente or Le Clapier.

Vast and Simple
Where can you find more forest, mountains, and meadows? Where do you discover 156 hectares (!) of mostly untouched nature? We could call Pas de Ceilhes “the largest naturist campsite in France.” While that’s true, it doesn’t align with the small scale and non-commercial nature of our association grounds. For us, simplicity is the most significant advantage.

Meeting and Friendship
The large hall of the farm is the meeting place where a music evening is regularly held, or we bake pancakes when it rains. In the evening, the fireplace burns here. Outside, there is often something to do in the ‘Presbytère’, a walled pasture next to the farm. Here we eat together, organize barbecues, make music, and exchange camping experiences.

Teamwork makes the dream work
At this association campsite, we do it together. This way, we keep the sanitation blocks clean, and the ‘lifeguard’ maintains the swimming pool. In May, there is the annual work week, and volunteers light the biweekly BBQ. We look out for each other.

Take a stroll
The area around Pas de Ceilhes invites exploration; there are hikes both directly from the campsite and beyond. You can venture out on your own, and guided hikes are also organized by experienced hikers/campers.

Let’s go exploring
No wifi at this campsite! But that doesn’t matter because your friends don’t have it either. So together you go on an adventure, sleep together in the field under the starry night, or enjoy a nice swim in the refreshing pool. For the little ones, there is a toddlers’ pool.
