The campsite is located in a natural area with elevations between 500 and 700 meters. There are relatively flat meadows in the surroundings, lots of forests, and rugged terrain. The campsite is situated in the regional nature park of the Grands Causses, large limestone plateaus. The Causse du Larzac is one of them. In this region, there are about 5 hectares per inhabitant, so you only see a chicken at the market. It is very expansive and even in the high season, wonderfully quiet.

The Farm – La Ferme
- Behind the entrance of the campsite stands an ancient farmhouse.
- In this farmhouse, there is the ‘grande salle’ with a fireplace, library, board games, and piano. It is also possible to play table tennis and shuffleboard.
- Here, it is also possible to light the fireplace yourself. Please make sure to replenish the wood supply.
- Benches and tables are available for communal activities.
- The farmhouse is equipped with outlets, a refrigerator, a freezer, lighting, and wifi.

Swimming Pool and Toddler Pool
- The campsite has an unattended swimming pool, fed with fresh stream water from the Vérenne.
- Next to the pool is the horseshoe-shaped toddler pool – partially covered with canvas for ample shade. There is always some water toys available, and the garden hose that offers stream water also provides plenty of fun.
- Next to the pool, it is lovely to lie on the grass field, whether in the sun or shade.

Playground
- The children’s playground at Grand Pré has a slide, swings, climbing frame, and trampoline. Children can play there wonderfully.
- And ultimately, the large area with everything you find in nature makes for the best Wi-Fi-free vacation experience for the kids!

Beek de Vérenne: our source
- Crystal clear drinking water comes from our own spring. Water quality is regularly monitored. The swimming pool is also fed with this water.
- This spring is also the source of the Vérenne, a stream that cuts through the grounds. With a temperature of around 12 degrees Celsius, it is often used as a refrigerator. Most camping spots have access to the water.
- At the entrance of the grounds, there is a small waterfall in the stream that provides refreshment on warm days.
- Along the river, there is an unpaved road to Ceilhes that is accessible for pedestrians and mountain biking, or with a 4×4 vehicle.
- Besides the sanitary buildings, there are several taps for drinking water located throughout the grounds.

Surrounded by Nature
- In spring, especially in May, many orchids bloom in the meadows to the great delight of amateur photographers. The lilies by the farm are also stunning.
- Other flora can be found, such as calla lilies, figs, wild laurel, and hazel. There is also remarkable fauna, such as dormice (erythrinus), beautiful lizards, and extraordinary butterflies like the hummingbird moth that can be found on the grounds.
- Characteristic of the region is the protected Cardabelle. When the Cardabelle dries and hangs at your home, it brings good luck. It is also a natural weather predictor: when the heart of the flower closes, rain is on the way.
- While driving to and from the campsite, it is likely that you will see a deer or a fox. Wild boars are also present in the area.
